This EP has two numbers I wrote while working in the Bahamas - Gumbay followed by Master Funk. The first time I did these two numbers onstage together was at a concert at Symphony Space in NYC where I had the thrill of sharing the stage that night with the one and only Babatunde Olatungi -

The album of this EP is a painting of me that was done by the late great artist Don Seiler of Delray Beach, Florida who was a long time friend of mine.
